Stock School

Learn the fundamentals of trading and investing.
Stock School runs every second week on campus and is a 10 Week course which runs throughout the entire academic year.

It brings students from no trading knowledge through the foundations of stocks, bonds, commodities and derivities amoung other financial vehicles.

Start-Up School

Bring your idea to life with expert advice from business leaders.
Running over the course of 5 weeks, this event will take you through the steps of starting up your own small company.

The first week will focus on bringing your idea to life, and will feature mentors with many years of entrepreneurial experience to help get your idea off on the right track.

Outsider Events

Because Entrepreneurship isn't limited to just campus

Our members are highly proactive, we attend (and this year win) StartUp Weekends. We volunteer at event and conferences and get invited to loads more. These can range from the Web Summit, StartUp Gathering Week, Student Summit, Venture West, etc etc.

Talks We Have Held

Marketing to Tech Startups, Founders to Senior Staff

More of What We Do

We also like to get around.

International Mystery Tour

In year one our members took to Riga, Latvia. Last year we took flight again to Berlin, Germany.

Student Enterprise Awards

The SEA is a campus-wide competition open to all sutdents, undergrad and postgrad regardless of discipline. The awards include €3,000 of investment and incubation office space.

BlackStone Launchpad

Blackstone LaunchPad is a campus based entrepreneurship program, accessible by over 500K students globally, designed to support and mentor students, staff and alumni - regardless of major, experience or discipline.

BOI Workbench

We try to bridge the gap between the Galway Startup scene and student startups on campus. The center of all start up activity in Galway is the Workbench. We host events here, have breakfast meetings here and attend talks hosted by BOI at the Workbench and Founder Fridays.
